Steve’s dedication to bravery is demonstrated by 10 commendations, including two Life Saving Awards, two Officer of the Year awards, the Special Award of Honor from the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association, and a Medal of Valor nomination for apprehending a gunman while off duty. Additionally, Steve honed his leadership through high-risk undercover operations, crime suppression task forces, dignitary protection, and a select federal joint task force.
Steve’s unique educational platform was built upon his training through the United States Secret Service and the Florida Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission. His academic foundation continues to be complemented by the hundreds of actual hours he steadily logs on a yearly basis in protecting individuals/groups of all ages and background regardless of the level of risk or their notoriety. His respect in the legal community has earned him the recognition of an expert witness in both State & Federal Court.
Steve has lectured extensively throughout the United States on security, undercover and operations, and executive protection techniques. He received extensive notoriety as a case agent during an investigation which was appealed to the Supreme Court and subsequently became a landmark 4th Amendment decision. This matter was highlighted in Life Magazine, Time Magazine, Newsweek, and the PBS Documentary Show, Odyssey.
